Daxton is 1 yr old!

Daxton turned 1 yr old on Valentine's Day. Since the day fell on Saturday, we decided to throw a little party during the day with cake and ice-cream. We had such a good turn-out that our house was packed and Dax sure was spoiled with presents.

Dax is funny, he smiles when you get the camera out and say, "Cheese!"

Hurray for Presents!

Daxton's cake and the cupcakes for guests were all monsters. Dax loves monsters and loves growling like one. I made a two-layered 6" chocolate cake and then frosted it. I was very pleased with how it all turned out.

Greg didn't think Dax was messy enough so he decided to make Dax take a plunge into his cake. Poor Dax, that frosting was pokey! He wasn't too happy after that and refused to eat anymore cake. So to the bathtub he went.

We love you so much and are so excited for the year ahead. You've grown so quickly it seems, and are so proud of the sweet little boy you are and the joy you bring to our family. We are so grateful you are ours.
