Labor Day Fun

A couple families in our ward host a "Block Party" every year on Labor Day. They barricade off their circle and everyone brings their bikes/toys on wheels and rides them around in the circle. Everyone brings a dish to share and hot dogs are cooked up. Lots of "easy-ups" are set up and everyone hangs out, eats, and slides down a 20ft waterslide (if they like).
Dax fell asleep in the car on our way over...
Greg was good to take care of Milo while everyone was getting set up.
Dax had a blast once he finally woke up.
Splashing in the water and riding the scooter

The enormous waterslide. As you can see, everyone climbs up the left side and slides down on the right. At one point it was crowded with kids going up the left side and were all jumping and bouncing while waiting in line. They bounced so hard that the entire 20ft blow-up structure rolled! But no worries, nobody was hurt.

Love their faces on this one! Dax loved the slide (as you can see below).

We were there for several hours and about to leave when I looked over and Jax was about to pull an "evil canevil" move on a scooter going down this ramp! This kid has no fear!
No worries, Chantel hurried over and still let him go down it, but with help.
Afterward we went and got a 5-buck pizza and breadsticks from Little Caesars and chilled the rest of the night.
Happy Labor Day!
